In case you're new around here, you should know that our mission is to make gospel-centered resources accessible for Christians of every nation and language. We are a project of Open Source Mission, in partnership with several Christian publishers, and carried out by a world-wide community of volunteer translators.
For more information, you can visit our Frequently Asked Questions page, read about how our process works, or visit the Community Portals to see what's going on in your language.
We're glad you found us!
Our volunteers are constantly working on new projects, and the folks at Open Source Mission are working hard with Christian ministries to get more and more content added to our Copyright Library. To find what's available so far in your language, you can go to the Directory.
All we ask in return is that you help us to make the site better by letting us know how we can improve and spreading the word to anyone you know who might be able to translate.
Also note: while you're browsing, you'll be able to read our content and leave feedback on the Talk pages. If you want to be able to do more (create new pages, revise content, etc.) you'll have to get an account.
Thank you for your desire to help!
Being part of our translator community benefits you several ways:
- We acquire the copyrights for you, so you don't need to contact publishers on your own
- We provide a central distribution point for translations, so it's likely that others will be able to benefit from your work
- We add peer review to your work, so both your work and your skills can gradually improve with the help of others
To get started, we recommend you:
- Create an account with us (necessary for editing privileges),
- Read the Introduction to Translating,
- and then visit the Translation Requests to see what work needs to be done
